Capricorn Zodiac Sign

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac and represents ambition, responsibility, hard-work, leadership, maturity and tradition. The dates for Capricorn season begin around December 22nd and last until January 19th.

Capricorn is represented by the sea-goat which is a creature that’s connected to many different myths. One of which is a Greek myth about the God Pan who was trying to shapeshift into a fish while escaping the monster Typhon. Only the bottom half of him transformed, making him part goat, part fish. This was amusing to the God Zeus so he decided to immortalize Pan as the constellation Capricornus.

Capricorn is a cardinal, earth sign which means that it feels called to initiate change and because it’s an earth sign it may do this in a practical way. This sign is ruled by Saturn which is connected to things like discipline, structure, stability and consistency. Therefore, Capricorn is connected to things like determination, security, following a traditional path and commitment.

Capricorn Sun

The Sun in Capricorn can make you someone who’s very serious, realistic and dedicated to your purpose or life’s work. Capricorn is a sign that loves to work hard and typically enjoys working in general, as it’s a purpose-driven sign. The opposite sign of Capricorn is Cancer which is connected to things like sensitivity, caretaking, nurturing, intuition and emotions.

Capricorn is also connected to family and because it’s a masculine sign it’s more connected to the “father” archetype whereas Cancer is more connected to the “mother” archetype. Because of this, Capricorn can be seen as the more stoic, practical sign and Cancer can be seen as the more emotional, empathetic sign.

In the tarot, Capricorn is connected to the Devil card which represents things like temptation, control, manipulation, over-indulgence and enslavement. The Devil represents something that has power or control over you. Although this is really just an illusion which can make you feel as though you’re bound or enslaved to something.

Capricorn is a very organized sign that values order, structure and good old fashioned hard work. This sign also is known to have a wild side because it’s connected to the God Pan and the sea-goat, showing its dualistic nature. You may not always see this wild side of a Capricorn, but once you get to know them you may see this side come out.

Your Sun sign is just one aspect of you and so it’s important to consider your whole birth chart when trying to understand all sides of your personality.

Strengths

Responsible, ambitious, resilient, hard-working, organized, independent, natural leader, determined, reliable, has self-control, can be seen as the “provider”.

Weaknesses

Can become overly focused on work, can have a “my way or the highway” attitude, can be emotionally cold and distant, controlling, arrogant, bossy.

Archangels

Archangel Metatron

Archangel Metatron is connected to the ascension process and helps to activate the divine spark within you in order to empower you to reach your full potential. His name is known to have multiple meanings such as “to guard”, “to protect” and/or “after the throne”.

Archangel Metatron is associated with transformation, ascension, spiritual awakening, sacred geometry and transition. Metatron helps you to ascend to a high vibrational frequency so that you can raise your consciousness and follow the path of your divine purpose.

He’s connected to the colors of the rainbow or multi-colored light and sometimes specifically with the colors white, purple and/or orange. Metatron is one of two Archangels (the other being Sandalphon) who were once human and ascended to the heavens to become angels. When Metatron was alive in human form he was the prophet Enoch from the bible who was then chosen by God to become an angel.

Archangel Metatron is known as a divine scribe who records the sins of humans and who also guards spiritual secrets and knowledge. He’s also connected to the crown and soul star chakras, as he encourages you to awaken to your true nature. He’s also associated with inspiration, the divine spark and creative fire within you.

Signs that Archangel Metatron is Around You

Archangel Metatron will show up in your life when it’s time for you to transform and ascend to a higher version of yourself. He comes in to help you shed an old skin so that you can grow and develop as an individual and become more closely aligned to your soul’s purpose.

Being drawn to the symbols in sacred geometry such as the merkaba can be signs that he’s trying to communicate with you or is near. Metatron is strongly connected to the merkaba, also known as Metatron’s Cube, which contains all the other shapes within it and represents the blueprint of everything God created.

If you feel called by some powerful force within you, like a fire is being lit within you, to take action on something then this may also be him sending you encouragement. There are also many number vibrations that are connected to him such as the numbers five, nine and twelve, so basically any number associated with change and wisdom. Seeing 11:11 frequently can also be a sign from him that you’re being initiated into the ascension process.

Lastly, you may know that Archangel Metatron is near if you start feeling called to change your thought patterns as Metatron will encourage you to think more positively in order to empower you to keep moving forward.

Praying to Archangel Metatron

The best way to invoke Archangel Metatron is to simply ask for him to bring you the wisdom to transform your life. You can say a simple prayer like “Archangel Metatron, please surround me in your multi-colored light. Please bring me the strength and wisdom to align with my divine purpose, and so it is”. Feel free to make it your own by changing some of the words or adding “amen” at the end. Whatever feels right to you.

The best way to connect with Angelic energy, or any spiritual energy, is to do so from a place of authenticity as this is when you’ll be most connected to your soul. Another way to pray to or invoke Archangel Metatron is to light a multi-colored candle and imagine yourself surrounded in sparkly, rainbow light. Then recite a prayer to Archangel Metatron and this can be one you create yourself or the one from the previous paragraph.

Once you recite the prayer, hold the vision of the rainbow light around you for a few minutes and feel its high vibrational energy. Be aware of any intuitive messages that come through at this time, as they could be from Archangel Metatron. Pay attention to how you feel and what energies, feelings or vibrations come over you.

Also meditating on an image of Metatron’s Cube (the merkaba) can help you to align to his vibrational frequency. If you are able to purchase a crystal in the shape of a merkaba and place that on your third eye while meditating then this can help you open up to receiving his divine wisdom through downloads.

If you feel so inclined you can even write these things down in a journal which you can refer back to while you’re learning how to connect with Archangel energy. These are simple ways that you can begin connecting with Archangel Metatron and with time and practice you’ll be able to recognize his energy more easily.

Spirit Animals

Wolf Spirit Animal

The wolf spirit animal represents things like power, wildness, instincts, loyalty, independence and relying on others. Wolves are associated with freedom and movement, as they can travel great distances and are also adaptable to many different climates. They’re skilled predators that are built for a predatory lifestyle which is guided by their finely-tuned instincts.

Wolves are also social creatures who run in packs where there is an alpha, or lead, wolf who the other wolves are submissive to. They rely on each other when it comes to hunting and this allows them to take down bigger game which can feed the whole pack. Due to this need for socialization, which is imperative for their survival, wolves are also very loyal and work together as a team.

So the wolf spirit animal can indicate that it’s time for you to get in touch with your inner power and instincts to guide you in life. It can also signify a need to go your own way and explore all that the world has to offer you by charting new territory and getting out of your comfort zone. The wolf can also signify a need for you to get in touch with your own predatory instincts in order to take the initiative and go after what you want in life.

Spirit Animals Meaning

You can experience the energy of spirit animals through symbolism in your reality or by actually seeing an animal in your physical world. Receiving signs of a particular animal multiple times, as in a pattern, can mean that this animal has a message for you or that their energy can act as medicine for you at that time. If you see an animal in your reality, especially an animal you don’t see often or is rare to see, it can be a big sign with a more powerful meaning or impact for you at that time.

Spirit animals can act as a spirit guide throughout your life or they can come to you at times when you need their specific medicine, wisdom and/or energy. If you tend to see a certain animal a lot, or you have always felt a special connection and kinship with a particular animal, then it may be one of your spirit guides.

Wolf Spirit Animal Meaning

When the wolf starts to appear in your life it can mean that you have natural leadership abilities within you which are being awakened at this time. You may be at a pivotal time in your life where you’re transforming into a more powerful version of yourself and really coming into your own. This can even be a time where you’re realizing your own power and this is awakening you to what you’re truly capable of.

Wolves need to roam and they’re built for this type of lifestyle which can also be a calling for you to set out on a journey and “roam” at this time. Learning to trust your instincts and let them guide you in life can be part of your karmic purpose and the wolf is acting as a teacher for you when it comes to this. The wolf is a sign for you to embrace your dominant and assertive nature to take charge with confidence at this time.

Wolves are also deeply misunderstood creatures and have been hunted and killed for taking down livestock and were considered an endangered species back in 1974. Although wolves were reintroduced to the wild around 1995 highlighting their resilience and ability to endure in spite of the challenges set against them.

So the wolf spirit animal can also show your ability to endure life’s challenges and come out on top even when you may be feeling outcasted, ostracized or even threatened. It can also mean that you’re meant to move away from the crowd, go your own way in life and embrace your individualism and independence.

Because wolves howl to communicate it can also represent a need to get in touch with your voice and speak your truth. Wolves howl for many different reasons such as to communicate with each other, state their location, warn their pack, mark their territory or to assemble the pack. So it may be time for you to use your voice in order to express something within you which needs to be said.

Like with all spirit animals, the wolf can have many different meanings for your life at a particular time. Listening to your intuition and gut instincts will help you to know which message the wolf has for you.
