Judgement Tarot Card Meaning

Judgement is the twenty-first card in the major arcana and represents an awakening, resurrection, judgement call, inner calling and reckoning. Judgement is represented by the number twenty which breaks down to the number two, so each number will have connections to the meaning of this card. The number twenty is connected to things like harmony, cooperation, diplomacy and teamwork.

Judgement is connected to the element fire and the planet Pluto, as it’s associated with a powerful wake up call or feeling as though you’re being called to do something. This card can also represent an experience where you feel compelled by some unknown force to take action. 

The Judgement card is a call for you to step into your power and take the steps necessary to fulfill your destiny. This may be a time where you need to make some big decisions which will affect your life and life path for some time. So this can signify a time of great change in your life where you’re the one in the driver’s seat and the ball is in your court.

Judgement Meaning

This card can represent a call to action from the universe to follow the path of your higher purpose. Judgement is urging you to answer that call, as it’s divinely guided and to avoid it would be to avoid your destiny. This may require you to make some hard decisions but this is all part of your path towards soul growth.

The image on the card shows Archangel Gabriel descending from the heavens while blowing a trumpet. The sound of the trumpet acts as a divine call which is resurrecting the people below from their graves. On the card a naked man, woman and child stand up with their arms outstretched waiting to see if they will be judged fairly and allowed to enter heaven. 

So Judgement can represent a time where you’re being judged for your actions and that it will be in your best interest to act with honor and integrity. This card is also connected to karma so when it appears there may be a karmic lesson or element which is helping you to evolve into a higher version of yourself. This can be a message to grow and evolve at this point on your path.

Therefore, when Judgement comes up in a reading it can represent an opportunity to break free of a karmic cycle and step into your power to become the person you were destined to be. Alternatively, Judgement can also represent things like not answering the call, a time of inner reflection, a loss of faith and procrastination. The Sun Tarot Card Meaning

The Sun is the twentieth card in the major arcana and represents happiness, clarity, success, vitality, joy, optimism and personal power. The Sun is represented by the number nineteen which breaks down to the numbers ten and one, so each number will have connections to the meaning of this card. The number nineteen is connected to things like determination, commitment, stamina and rebirth.

The Sun card is connected to the element fire and the zodiac sign Leo, as it’s associated with warmth, empowerment, magnetism and inner power. This card can also represent a huge realization or epiphany as well as clarity, understanding and the truth being fully revealed. 

The planet connected to this card is the Sun, which is the ruler of Leo, and represents vitality, identity, energy, motivation and a sense of self. Because of this, the Sun card can also be connected to things like inner radiance, confidence, abundance and strength. 

The Sun Meaning

This card can represent an energy of happiness and joy as well as having the ability to see things clearly in a situation. The Sun can be a good omen that “all is well” and is often considered to be one of the most positive cards in the deck.

The image on the card shows a Sun in the sky which is shining above a small child riding a white horse. On the card, there is a field of sunflowers facing the Sun representing the magnetic nature of the Sun and the attention it attracts to itself. 

So the Sun can represent a joyous occasion or that there’s a reason to be happy, hopeful and lighthearted. This card can represent a time where you’re coming back to the light after being in the dark with the Moon card. This can mean that things are being illuminated and anything that has been hidden from you will now be exposed.

The Moon is the nineteenth card in the major arcana and represents illusion, mystery, the subconscious, intuition and fear of the unknown. The Moon is represented by the number eighteen which breaks down to nine, so each number will have connections to the meaning of this card. The number eighteen is connected to things like strength, personal power, leadership and self-determination.

The Moon is connected to the element water and the zodiac sign Pisces, as it’s associated with emotions, fantasy and the psychic senses. This card can also represent deception, fears, things not appearing as they actually are and stepping out into the unknown. 

This card is connected to the planet Neptune which represents illusion, spirituality, creativity and going with the flow. Because of this, the Moon can also be connected to things like hidden blessings or something that is buried beneath the surface. 

The Moon Meaning

This card can show that not everything is as it seems with your current situation and that it will be best to follow the voice of your intuition. This card represents a journey into the unknown where things may feel uncertain and confusing and this is where the guidance of your inner voice comes in.

The image on the card shows a Moon in the night sky which is positioned between two pillars and above a small body of water. On the card, there is a dog and a wolf symbolizing both the domesticated and wild aspects of self. There’s also a crawfish crawling out of the water symbolizing the first stages of awareness. 

So the Moon can represent a need to get in touch with the other aspects of yourself such as your shadow, instincts and inner wisdom. This card can be a message to utilize your instincts and intuition in a situation, as they will be your best guide. This can mean that you already have the answers within you and that you just need to trust your inner voice.

This card is connected to the planet Uranus which represents rebellion, sudden change, upheaval and chaos. Because of this, the Star can also be connected to things like a recovery process, healing and keeping the faith throughout life’s challenges. 

The Star Meaning

This card brings a message of hope, sanctuary and holding onto your faith in life. After the destructive energy of the Tower, the Star brings a welcome message of peace and represents the calm after the storm. This card can show that the healing process has begun and to have faith in the process.

The stars are also eight-pointed stars which strongly connects the energy of this card to the numerology of the number eight

This number is connected to things like abundance, spiritual growth, raising your vibration and expanding consciousness. So the Star can represent a heightened level of awareness, spiritual awakening or a calling to a higher purpose. This card can be a sign that you’re going through a spiritual growth process and becoming more enlightened.

The Tower is connected to the element fire and the zodiac signs Aries and Scorpio, as it’s associated with intense energies, transformation, breaking free and sudden life changes. This card can also represent a sudden epiphany, revelation and something that was built on a weak foundation. 

This card is connected to the planet Mars which represents ambition, passion, anger, action, aggression and assertiveness. Because of this, the Tower can also be connected to things like sudden change where you may feel like the rug has been pulled out from under you. This can be a time of awakening in your life where you’re awakening to new truths, realizations and gaining new awareness. 

The Tower Meaning

This card represents a shocking experience, sudden turn of events or a realization which creates a break-through allowing you to break free in an area of your life. When this card comes up in a reading expect the unexpected, as you’re about to experience a big wake up call. 

The image on the card shows a tower on fire which is also being hit by lightning and the roof has been blown off. On the card, there are people who have been thrown from the tower, forcing them to surrender to their circumstances. This shows that the Tower can create chaos and circumstances which are out of your control and that surrendering may be necessary.

So the Tower can mean that there’s something in your life which has been built on a weak foundation, whether it’s a relationship, mindset or even a goal. This card can act as a wake up call which is the catalyst for your awakening to this truth. This card can represent things like break ups, something that’s a deal breaker or something that shakes you to your core.

Therefore, when the Tower comes up in a reading it can represent a sudden change that’s acting to break something down or destroy a structure so that you can rebuild something else. Alternatively, the Tower can also represent things like the downfall of belief structures, inner change and liberation. The Fool is the first card in the major arcana and represents a fresh and exciting new start which holds much potential. The Fool is represented by the number zero as within it contains all possibilities and outcomes. The number zero represents infinity, wholeness, inclusiveness and infinite possibilities making it a number of chaos and birth as well.

The Fool is connected to the element of air and the zodiac sign Aquarius as it’s associated with open-minded thinking, innovation, freedom, independence and breaking free of barriers. This card symbolizes a brand new cycle in your life where you’re just at the beginning and you may feel very enthusiastic and optimistic at this point.

This card is also connected to the planet Uranus which represents chaos, rebellion, freedom, sudden changes and revolution. Because of this, the Fool also represents a time of potential chaos, as some form of chaos is needed for something new to be birthed, as well as unexpected and/or unforeseen challenges.

The Fool Meaning

This card symbolizes a brand new journey, new inspiration, embodying an entrepreneurial mindset, risk-taking and spontaneity. The image on the card shows a youthful individual who looks very open, free and excited about the new journey in front of them. Although they don’t also see the danger up ahead, as they’re about to step off a cliff.

This represents the potential “foolishness” that can come with this card. As while it may be important to take risks in life sometimes, being overly risky can lead to foolish behavior and decisions. Therefore when the Fool comes up in a reading, it may be time to consider the future consequences of your actions and figure out what those may be and to also have faith in the process.

This card can symbolize that you’re about to embark on a brand new cycle in your life where everything may be new to you, or feel new to you, and that it will be important to create a plan instead of just winging it. This may not completely guarantee success, although it will give you a roadmap to follow and when challenges inevitably come up you can deal with them then. Always look to the cards around it for clarification or to get a deeper meaning.
