Numerology

Life Path Number 6

The life path number 6 relates to energies of care-taking, nurturing, harmony, loyalty, creativity and generosity. Your mission and purpose in this life is to be of service to others in a healing, nurturing and caring way.

One of the lessons that comes with this number is learning how to balance the needs of others and the needs of your own well-being. With a 6 life path number you’re learning important lessons around devotion, healing, compassion, loyalty and balance.

Six is a number that loves to create harmony and be generous with others, as it has a deep need to help those who are less fortunate. The energy of this number is empathetic, sensitive, diplomatic and selfless. Because of this, people with a six life path number can be drawn to things like nursing, healing in all ways, service-oriented careers, motherhood and creating a family.

The downsides of this life path number is that it can create energies of self-sacrifice as your deep empathy and need to help others can come at the detriment of yourself. The lesson for this number is to learn how to recharge its batteries and “fill back up” after being of service, as you can’t give from an empty cup.

Find Your Life Path Number

To find your life path number you need to add all of the numbers of your birth date together until you break it down to one single number. Unless your number is 11, 22 or 33 as these are master numbers. For example, let’s say that your birthday is 3/25/1975, you would add 3+2+5+1+9+7+5 = 32 and 3+2 = 5, so your life path number would be 5.

If you get a master number such as 11,22 or 33 then your life path number will embody both the energy of the double digit number and the single digit number. So if your life path number is 11 then the life path number 2 will also apply to your life path. If you get life path number 22 then life path number 4 will also apply to you, so on and so forth.

Numerology of the Number 6

The number 6 in numerology is connected to compassion, empathy, unconditional love, gentleness and support. The vibration of this number creates a very loving, kind energy which can be great for things like caretaking, mothering and emotional support. This number needs to be of service in some way as it gives it more purpose and a deeper meaning in life.

The number 6 is connected to the heart chakra as it’s associated with unconditional love and compassion making it a great number for relationships of all kinds. In the tarot this number is represented by the Lovers which is connected to a heart-based choice as well as soul connections with others. This card can represent a soul connection, or connection of the heart, in your life.

This number is connected to energies of protection, loyalty and peace and it values devotion as it relates to partnerships. When this number starts to appear in your life it can be a sign that harmony is being restored and that you’re being supported and protected on your path with loving compassion and generosity.

Some downsides of this number is that it can produce energies of self-sacrifice, people pleasing and a desire to be passive in order to keep the peace. This is due to the great desire this number has to bring harmony and support to the situations in life. A way to bring balance into the mix is to find a way to honor your own values, needs and well-being while also being supportive to others and to remember to also give love and care to yourself.

Every number will have its shadow side which can be worked through by remembering to create balance and honoring both the light and dark sides of yourself, as well as your life path number.

The Emperor Tarot Card Meaning

The Emperor is the fifth card in the major arcana and represents leadership, structure, order, divine masculine energy and authority. The Emperor is represented by the number four as it’s connected to energies of stability, security and building, as four is a builder number. The number four represents practicality, efficiency, stamina, order and determination.

The Emperor is connected to the element of fire and the zodiac sign Aries, as it’s associated with power, leadership, independence, entrepreneurship and self-reliance. This card symbolizes a figure of authority and power who is in charge of an “empire” or who is the decision-maker in a situation and is seeking order.

This card is also connected to the planet Mars which represents passion, action, high energy, independence and drive. Because of this the Emperor can also be connected to things like entrepreneurship, running a business and having the ability to run your life independently without anyone else managing you.

The Emperor Meaning

This card shows your ability to manage your life in a fair and honorable way through good old-fashioned hard work, patience and diligence. The image on the card shows a man sitting on a throne, wearing a crown and holding a scepter, representing his power and dominion over his empire.

On his throne are engraved ram heads connecting him with the zodiac sign Aries which is represented by the ram. In the card, the Emperor exudes power, authority, control and has a commanding presence. So the Emperor can symbolize someone who’s in charge or who’s in control of a situation in your life and who has the final say on any decisions.

Therefore, when the Emperor comes up in a reading it can show that you will need to take control over a situation in an empowered and honorable way, or that you may need to refer to an authority figure. Alternatively, the Emperor can also represent things like being overly controlling, building something from the ground up and stepping into a powerful role that comes with much responsibility. Always look to the cards around it for clarification or to get a deeper meaning.

This card is also connected to the planet Venus which represents love, values, abundance, creativity, prosperity, relationships and sensuality. Because of this the Empress can also be connected to things like self-expression, how you nurture yourself and the relationships in your life and how you express your values.

The Empress Meaning

This card shows that you’re manifesting something into being and that there are seeds being planted at this time which if you nurture correctly will sprout, grow and develop into something potentially abundant. The image on the card shows a woman sitting on a throne in a lush forest wearing a crown and holding a scepter. Sometimes she’s also portrayed as being pregnant due to her fertile nature.

In the card, the Empress is wearing a gown decorated with pomegranates which symbolize regeneration, life, fertility, abundance, the menstrual cycle and initiation. Pomegranates were a sacred symbol in the ancient world and are also connected to the myth of Persephone and Hades. So the Empress can symbolize the beginning stages of an initiation into the mysteries of life that are centered around the process of creation, birth and rebirth.

The Empress is ruled by earth energies which are typically slower moving and require loving care in order to grow. Therefore, when the Empress comes up in a reading it can show that you will need to play a consistent role in bringing your manifestations to life and that this will be something that doesn’t happen overnight. Alternatively, the Empress can also represent things like pregnancy, the mother archetype, self-love, self-care and the goddess. On the black and white pillars beside her are the letters “B” and “J” which are said to represent Boaz (his strength) and Jachin (he will establish). This is said to represent duality, masculine and feminine energies and it’s also connected to the Temple of Solomon.

The image on the card shows a youthful individual who looks very open, free and excited about the new journey in front of them. Therefore when the Fool comes up in a reading, it may be time to consider the future consequences of your actions and figure out what those may be and to also have faith in the process.

This card can symbolize that you’re about to embark on a brand new cycle in your life where everything may be new to you, or feel new to you, and that it will be important to create a plan instead of just winging it.
