The Eight of Pentacles Meaning

This card symbolizes your work, job, career or a period of time where you’re working to master a skill. This card can also represent the daily grind and the consistent effort that’s required to achieve a goal or learn something new.

The whale spirit animal represents things like wisdom, strength, peace, family, communication and emotional healing. Whales are large creatures that need a lot of space to move around and are known for their long-distance migrations. Because of this they’re connected to having a larger than life presence, natural leadership abilities and a need for growth and expansion.

Whales are known to live for a very long time and some, like the killer whale, can live for more than a hundred years. Because of this they’re associated with ancient wisdom and can be seen as the “wisdom keepers” or keepers of history. Some whales can also swim to great depths and because of this they’re associated with diving deep into your own emotions and exploring what’s buried there.

So the whale spirit animal can represent things like memory, strong intuitive skills and being emotionally deep. Whales are also symbols of big shifts and changes that may be occurring in your life or within yourself at the moment. Whales are also connected to a heightened level of awareness, spirituality, enlightenment and going with the flow.

Spirit Animals Meaning

You can experience the energy of spirit animals through symbolism in your reality or by actually seeing an animal in your physical world. Receiving signs of a particular animal multiple times, as in a pattern, can mean that this animal has a message for you or that their energy can act as medicine for you. If you see an animal in your reality, especially an animal you don’t see often or is rare to see, it can be a big sign with a more powerful meaning or impact for you at that time.

The Seven of Pentacles is represented by the number seven which is connected to things like wisdom, analytical thinking, transition and knowledge.

The Seven of Pentacles is connected to the element earth and the planet Venus, as it’s associated with organic growth cycles, abundance and the material realm. This card can represent a transitional period where you’re working towards achieving a goal and waiting to see the results.

The Seven of Pentacles can show that you’ve been doing the work and now it’s just about sticking to the process and being consistent. This card can represent a time where you may be in the grind which can become repetitive and monotonous. Because of this it’s important to not lose sight of your goal so that you keep showing up and doing the work.

The Seven of Pentacles Meaning

This card symbolizes something that you’re investing your time, energy and resources into which you’re waiting to see results with. This card can also represent planning for the long-term or something which will produce long-term results. 

The image on the card shows a man tending to his investment and waiting for his crop to grow. The man has his hands and head resting on top of his garden tool as if thinking about the time when he finally reaches his goal and can enjoy the fruits of his labor. The expression on his face looks tired and maybe even a little defeated or worn out from the process.

This shows that while having a goal is a worthwhile pursuit, the process will not be easy and will require your strength at times. So the Seven of Pentacles shows that achieving a goal requires consistent work and effort and that in order for this to happen you need to commit to seeing it through.

The Six of Pentacles is the sixth card in the pentacles suit in the minor arcana and represents generosity, charity, giving, receiving, balance and support. The Six of Pentacles is represented by the number six which is connected to things like harmony, care-taking, help and nurturing energy.

The Six of Pentacles is connected to the element earth and the planet Venus, as it’s associated with assistance, abundance, a gift and relief from struggle. This card can represent a gift from the universe which is giving you relief from the challenging energy of the five of pentacles.

The Six of Pentacles can show that you’re being given a hand-out of some kind which will help to balance out the scales moving forward. This card can represent a small act of charity which is meant to help you get back on your feet so that you can recover from any losses.

The Six of Pentacles Meaning

This card symbolizes a balance of give and take. If something has been taken from you know that this will be returned to you but maybe in a different form. This card can also represent your generosity towards others. So you can be represented by either role in this card. 

The image on the card shows two people down on their knees begging for help while another person is handing them coins. The person in the giving role is seemingly wealthy and has enough to give to others who are in need. He’s also holding scales showing that the scales are being balanced.

So the Six of Pentacles can represent a time of relief and recuperation in your life where you’re getting the help and support you need. This card also signifies that while you may be receiving charity at this time, this is just a temporary gift meant to get you out of hardship. Although after this it will be up to you to continue finding ways to maintain your financial security.

Therefore, when the Six of Pentacles comes up in a reading it means that there will be a fair outcome in a situation and you will get what you need or will be able to help in some way. Alternatively, the Six of Pentacles can also represent things like bread-crumbing, being overly generous and a need to bring balance to a situation as it may be too one-sided. Always look to the cards around it for clarification or to get a deeper meaning.

Upright

Giving and receiving, a gift from the universe, bread-crumbing, charity, generosity, a hand-out, balance, equality, fairness, receiving assistance, support.

Reversed

A need to balance the give and take, not receiving what you deserve, too much going out and not enough coming in, a one way street, being overly generous.

The Moon in Astrology represents your emotions, intuition, soul, subconscious and instincts. In the birth chart this planet represents the emotional self, your inner world and your emotional response to the world. The Moon will show what you need in order to feel safe, secure and protected as the Moon is connected to the archetype of the mother.

This planet represents feminine energy as well as the feminine figures in your life such as your mother or parent. It can also be connected to your natural instincts and intuitive abilities and how this manifests within you. The Moon is your heart and soul and how you express this part of yourself.

Challenging aspects made to your Moon, such as a square, can show challenging and tumultuous emotions or emotional triggers. Positive aspects made to the Moon, such as a trine, can indicate a flow of energy which is helpful, supportive and harmonious. 

When interpreting the Moon in your own chart it’ll be important to include the aspects made to the Moon because these will greatly influence how your Moon is expressed. It will also show the unique challenges, opportunities and experiences connected to your path towards emotional understanding and well-being in this life.

Taurus

Taurus is also a sensual sign who loves to be surrounded by beauty and creature comforts.

Gemini

Sagittarius

The Moon in Sagittarius can make you someone who’s very open-minded, free-spirited, spiritual and adventurous. This placement can indicate someone who’s larger than life who values exploration, freedom and expansion. Sagittarius is also known to be optimistic and tends to have a positive outlook. 

Capricorn

The Moon in Capricorn can make you someone who’s very serious, grounded, stable and responsible. This placement can indicate someone who’s goal-oriented and a hard-worker. Capricorn is a sign connected to maturity and has a strong sense of responsibility to serve a purpose or to be purpose-driven.

Aquarius

The Moon in Aquarius can make you someone who’s very unique, logical, independent and intelligent. This placement can indicate someone who’s open-minded, friendly and accepting of others. Aquarius is also a very future-oriented and innovative sign known for its individualistic nature.

Pisces
