Archangel Raguel is connected to justice, harmony, balance, fairness, peace and resolving conflict. His name means “Friend of God” or “God shall Pasture”. Raguel helps to create order where there is chaos and cooperation where there is strife. He can act as a mediator in relationships and helps to encourage communication so that everyone can be heard.

Archangel Raguel is known to bring justice when you’ve been treated unfairly so that the scales can be balanced. He helps to support and empower you to fight for fairness and equality. His purpose is to promote integrity and to fight against things like poverty, crime, hunger and other injustices in the world and your own life.

Archangel Raguel is connected to the colors blue and turquoise as he brings a very peaceful, healing and tranquil energy. Because of this he can be connected to the throat chakra as he encourages harmonious, honest and compassionate communication.

Signs that Archangel Raguel is Around You

Archangel Raguel will show up in your life when you’re in need of justice, fairness and order. He can give you the strength to speak your truth so that you feel seen and heard. Raguel is the leader of a group of Angels known as the Principalities who provide guidance for humans and ensure that divine order is created on earth.

There are a few signs that Archangel Raguel is near you or guiding you such as seeing the color blue or being drawn to symbols of justice and equality. Feeling a need to heal certain relationships in your life can be a sign that he’s calling to you. There are also number vibrations connected to him such as the number six which is connected to things like harmony, peace, nurturing and cooperation. So seeing sequences of the number six can be a sign that he’s around you.

Archangel Raguel is also associated with snow and ice as he is known to bring a cooling down energy to heated situations. If you start feeling called to fight for justice for the less fortunate then he may be calling to you. Praying to Archangel Raguel

The best way to invoke Archangel Raguel is to simply ask him to bring you justice. You can say a simple prayer like “Archangel Raguel, please surround me in your calming blue light. Please bring me justice and fairness in (fill in the blank) situation in my life, and so it is.” Feel free to make it your own by changing some of the words or adding “amen” at the end. Whatever feels right to you.

The best way to connect with Angelic energy, or any spiritual energy, is to do so from a place of authenticity as this is when you’ll be most connected to your soul. Another way to pray to or invoke Archangel Raguel is to light a blue colored candle and imagine yourself surrounded in blue light. Then recite a prayer to Archangel Raguel and this can be one you create yourself or the one from the previous paragraph.

Once you recite the prayer, hold the vision of the blue light around you for a few minutes and feel its soothing, peaceful energy. Be aware of any intuitive messages that come through at this time, as they could be from Archangel Raguel. Pay attention to how you feel and what energies, feelings or vibrations come over you.

If you feel so inclined, you can even write these things down in a journal which you can refer back to while you’re learning how to connect with Archangel energy. The Seven of Wands is the seventh card of the wands suit in the minor arcana and represents standing your ground, defending your territory, competition and perseverance. This card shows that the victory you worked hard to achieve with the six of wands is now being challenged and you will need to fight in order to maintain your victory.

The Seven of Wands is associated with the number seven which is connected to things like transition, spirituality, wisdom and knowledge. So this card can represent a situation where you will need to think on your feet and use your inner wisdom in order to keep your position.

The Seven of Wands is connected to the element fire and the planet Mars, as it’s associated with assertiveness, courage and defending your territory. In love readings this card can represent things like having to fight for your relationship or having to set boundaries with a partner.

The Seven of Wands Meaning

This card is connected to fighting for what’s yours so that it’s not taken by someone who’s trying to usurp you. This may be a battle that comes to you out of the blue and so you may need to think fast and act courageously in order to defend your position. So this card can also be a representation of unexpected challenges, battles and obstacles to overcome in order to maintain your success or position of importance.

The image on the card shows a man on top of a hill wielding a wand and trying to fight off the six wands coming at him from the people below. It seems as though he’s having to defend his territory and was potentially caught off guard by this battle as he has two different types of shoes on. The look on his face is one of frustration, determination and potentially anger at the fact that he has to now fight for something which already belongs to him.

So the Seven of Wands can show that while you may need to fight in order to maintain your position, you’re also in a good position to do this. In the card the man fighting is on top of the hill while the other people are below it which shows that he actually has the advantage and upper hand. So this is a battle that you can easily win and this card is encouraging you to not back down.

Therefore, when the Seven of Wands comes up in a reading it can mean that you may be sucked into a battle in order to defend something important to you, but that you have what it takes to win. Alternatively, the Seven of Wands can also represent things like exhaustion, setting boundaries and a battle you weren’t prepared for. Goddess

Goddess Hekate

The Awakened Sage

Hekate is a Greek Goddess associated with magic, witchcraft, crossroads, the moon, the underworld and liminal spaces. While she is viewed as Greek some scholars dispute her origins, as evidence suggests that she may have originated from Thrace or Caria. The name Hekate, or Hecate, roughly translates to mean “worker from afar”.

Hekate is seen as a chthonic deity and is connected to the realms of earth, sea and sky as well as the underworld. She is known from the myth of Persephone and Demeter where she helps to guide Demeter through the underworld. She is a Goddess who can travel between the realms as she can inhabit the liminal spaces and different planes of existence.

Hekate is often depicted as a triple formed woman holding flaming torches with dogs flanked at her side. She is also known for her many epithets including Kleidouchos (key bearer), Enodia (of the crossroads), Phosphoros (light bearer) and many more. In Greek mythology her parents are seen as being Asteria, Goddess of the stars and Perses, God of destruction.

Signs that Hekate is Calling You

Hekate will show up in your life when you may be at a crossroads and need to make a decision. She can also come in when you may need to let go of something or are trying to navigate dark or trying times in your life. Her flaming torches can light the way and her wisdom can help to illuminate something to you.

Hekate is also a psychopomp as she helps to guide souls to the afterlife. She is deeply connected to spirits, ghosts, necromancy, magic, witchcraft and night. She is also associated with many different animals such as dogs, snakes, frogs and the polecat. Seeing any of these symbols can be signs that she’s trying to get your attention. If you feel called to start practicing magic, witchcraft or divination these can also be signs that she’s calling to you.

Other symbols such as keys, the triple moon, torches, knives and Hekate Wheels are also associated with her. Hekate is a Goddess of wisdom as she knows the mysteries of life and can access many different realms of existence. If she starts to appear in your life she may be acting as a teacher for you in order to help you increase your level of wisdom, insight and knowledge.

Working with Hekate

There are many ways to work with Hekate and as with any Goddess or deity creating some kind of altar no matter how simple or elaborate is a great place to start. For your altar you can add statues, artwork, candles and symbols of keys, dogs, snakes and/or the moon. This is your way of creating a sacred space to connect with her energy.

You can also call to her by saying a simple prayer like “Hekate, Goddess of the Crossroads, please help me to choose the right path for me.” You can create your own unique prayer or invocation to her as well, whatever feels right to you. Once you have called out to her allow yourself to sit in quiet meditation for a few minutes so that you can start to feel and connect with her energy.

Pay attention to any messages, feelings or sensations that come through at this time and over time you will start to become more familiar with her energy. If you feel so inclined you can even write these things down in a journal which you can refer back to while you’re learning how to connect with Goddess energy. Always be sure to leave some kind of offering when working with any deity and with Hekate you can leave things like wine, honey, cheesecake, eggs, garlic, flowers, incense or even something you make yourself.

In the ancient world people would honor her by leaving food at a crossroads which was then eaten by the poor and unhoused people. So you can even do things like donate food and drink to the poor or homeless people in your area. Whatever is available to you and whatever you feel most called to in order to honor her energy. These are simple ways that you can begin connecting with the Goddess Hekate and with time and practice you’ll be able to recognize her energy more easily.

The Six of Wands Meaning

This card is connected to reaching a significant milestone with your goals and achieving a victory for yourself. This involves a process of having to overcome different challenges and obstacles in order to accomplish this. Neptune in Astrology represents spirituality, illusion, imagination, artistry, compassion and idealism. In the birth chart this planet represents your natural inclination for intuition, spirituality, creativity and empathy. Neptune can represent your inspiration, connection to the divine and imagination. Neptune is a generational planet as it stays in each sign for about 14 years which means that it can take about 165 years to transit through the entire zodiac.

This planet can also represent fantasy, escapism, illusion, confusion, trickery and addiction. The challenge with Neptune is in trying to separate fact from fiction as Neptune can create the desire for idealism. Your predisposition for things like escapism, illusion, fantasy and/or idealism can be shown by the sign Neptune’s placed in along with the house and aspects being made to it.

In numerology the number sequences 111 and 1111 are seen as signs from the universe that a new path is unfolding for you and that now is a time of manifestation, awakening and rapid spiritual progress. The number one is connected to things like leadership, new beginnings, taking risks and confidence. 

This is a number of initiation and rebirth and represents the beginnings of a new path, journey or direction in life. Seeing repetitive number sequences in your reality can be seen as messages from the universe about your path ahead or your path in general. These repetitive number sequences are often referred to as “angel numbers” as they are seen as being heavenly sent.

When you start seeing 111 or 1111 this can herald a time of rebirth in your life where you will be stepping into your power in order to take charge and move forward with confidence. In many Native American cultures the frog is seen as the bringer of rain and the protector or guardian of fresh waters. This connects the frog to spiritual cleansing, purification and healing as the rain will cleanse and nurture the land. The Four of Wands is connected to the element fire and the planet Mars, as it’s associated with consistent and repetitive actions taken over a period of time in order to achieve a goal. This card represents progress on your path with what you’re building or creating for yourself.

The Four of Wands can show that you’ve built a nice foundation with something and can now celebrate the achievement of this milestone. This card can represent commitment to your goals and to seeing something through. In love readings this card can show that you’ve built a solid foundation with a romantic connection in your life.

The Four of Wands Meaning

This card symbolizes a point on your path where you’ve made progress with your goals and achieved something significant. This card shows that it’s time to celebrate your successes and honor the hard work you’ve put in and to also prepare yourself for the next step on your journey.  

The image on the card shows two people celebrating in between four wands which are decorated with garlands. Behind them is a large castle symbolizing the security, comfort and stability of the home. This card has a ceremonial energy, as if a marriage or important milestone event has just occurred.
