Archangel Michael is the leader or “chief” of all the Archangels who’s known to be a protector and defender. His name means “who is like god” and he is known as “god’s angel”. He helps you by giving you the courage, strength and perseverance to get through the challenging times in your life.
Archangel Michael is depicted carrying a sword which he uses to cut through any negative energies in your life or any negative cords attached to your energy field/aura. He’s pictured as a warrior in battle garb and this is symbolic for his “defender” vibration in which he fights for justice and truth.
He’s connected to the color blue and this color represents divine energy, peace, inner wisdom, inspiration and spiritual development. As such Archangel Michael is also associated with these energies as he can provide you with protection, truth, security and the opportunity for spiritual growth.
Archangel Michael is connected to the element of fire, as he’s the “bringer of light”, and can help to manifest a fire of inspiration and passion within you to keep pushing forward in your life. Signs that Archangel Michael is Around You
Archangel Michael will show up in your life in times of difficulty in order to bring you the strength and courage to push through and fight your battles fairly. He will also make his presence known when you begin a process of spiritual awakening or spiritual development in order to protect and guide you.
You will receive signs or sense energies in your reality when Archangel Michael is present. Some of which will be common to everyone and some of which will be more unique to you and your relationship with him. Certain number vibrations like 1111, 444 and different variations of those numbers are connected with him so if you see these a lot, he may be around you.
Seeing a feather on the ground is also a sign that Archangel Michael is watching over you and seeing feathers in general are signs from the Angelic realm. Also experiencing the psychic sense Claircognizance can be a message from Archangel Michael because he communicates very directly which can manifest as an inner knowing within you.
Another way he can communicate with you is through sending you messages through nature with things like animals and/or images in the clouds. Praying to Archangel Michael
The best way to invoke Archangel Michael is to simply ask for his protection in your life. You can say a simple prayer like “Archangel Michael, please surround me in your protective blue light. Protect me from all negative forces seen or unseen, and so it is”. Feel free to make it your own by changing some of the words or adding “amen” at the end. Whatever feels right to you.
The best way to connect with Angelic energy, or any spiritual energy, is to do so from a place of authenticity as this is when you’ll be most connected to your soul. Another way to pray to or invoke Archangel Michael is to light a white or blue candle and imagine yourself surrounded in a comforting blue light. Then recite a prayer to Archangel Michael and this can be one you create yourself or the one from the previous paragraph.
Once you recite the prayer, hold the vision of the blue light around you for a few minutes and feel its protective energy. Be aware of any intuitive messages that come through at this time as they could be from Archangel Michael. Pay attention to how you feel and what energies, feelings or vibrations come over you.
